You're not imagining it. What worked in your 20s stopped working somewhere around your late 30s. Less food and more cardio isn't the fix anymore. Understanding your hormones, your stress load, and your metabolism is.
None of this is a discipline problem. It's a body that's shifted, and a plan that hasn't caught up.
Chronic stress keeps cortisol elevated, and elevated cortisol holds onto fat, disrupts sleep, and makes cravings louder. Training harder doesn't fix this. Managing stress load does.
Without strength work built for this stage of life, your body quietly loses the muscle that used to keep your metabolism efficient. That loss is reversible, but it takes a different approach than cardio.
Under-eating adds stress on top of stress. The fewer calories approach that worked once now works against you, which is why more effort keeps getting you less result.

I spent years chasing a smaller body through restriction, before I found bodybuilding and learned the actual science of it: macros, training cycles, hormones. That taught me how to build a body. It didn't fully teach me how to sustain one, or how to coach women whose bodies were dealing with something more complicated than mine.
So I went deeper into the research on cortisol, metabolic adaptation, and how stress and hormones change the rules as we get older. Now I coach women through exactly that shift, with an approach built for what your body is actually doing at this stage, not another restrictive plan.
Four phases, built around your hormones and your life, not a generic 12-week template.
We start with your stress load, sleep, cycle or hormone stage, training history, and relationship with food: the full picture, not just a starting weight.
A flexible, macro-informed plan built to support your metabolism instead of starving it, so food stops feeling like the enemy.
Strength-focused programming that rebuilds what stress and time have worn down, at a pace your body and your schedule can actually hold.
Practical, unglamorous cortisol management, including sleep, recovery, and nervous system habits, woven into the plan instead of tacked on as an afterthought.
We review your progress every week and adjust the plan around your real life, not the other way around.
Built around your macros and your hormones, flexible enough to actually live with.
Progressive programming designed for muscle retention and joint-friendly longevity, at home or in a gym.
Practical habits for sleep, stress, and nervous system recovery built into your plan.
You'll understand why the plan works, so you're not dependent on me forever.
Recipes, form videos, and guides in one place, built for this stage of life.
In their own words. No filters, no fluff.

"I have spent my 24 years of existence hating my arms. Today I took a picture after an upper body day and started to actually love my body, that's a first. I can't believe training for just a month has made my lifelong insecurities slowly disappear."
"Choosing to work with Emilee was the best decision I made this whole year. She changed my life for the better. I have zero food noise now, I've gotten my period back consistently, and I'm the most confident I've ever been. Still training 5 days a week and I haven't had a bad workout since."
"Before I started I always felt like I had zero glute shape even though I thought I was training optimally. I can't believe how much Emilee's guidance with food and training has helped me. People at the gym keep telling me I look incredible and honestly, I've never felt this way before."
